Vertical and horizontal pre cuts with a hand saw, then larger saws to finish, with a lot of the day spent prepping the area and cleaning up.
A new doorway had to come out of an interior concrete wall, and the area was prepped before a blade went anywhere near it.
We cut the verticals and the horizontal first with a hand saw, then brought in larger saws to finish the cuts through the wall. Pre cutting first is much faster and safer, and our process for these has improved a lot since we added it.
On a job like this a lot of the time goes on prepping the area and cleaning it up, not on cutting.
