What we do with your details
Short version: we use them to get back to you about your job, and nothing else.
What we collect
If you fill in a form on this site we collect the name, phone number, email address, town and job description you type into it. A name and a phone number are required on every form, and most forms also ask where the job is. Email is required only when you ask for an estimate, so we can send you the figure.
What we do with it
We use it to contact you about the job you asked about, to quote it, and to keep a record of the work if you go ahead. Your details are stored in our customer system and seen by the people at Direct Concrete working on your job. We do not sell them, we do not rent them, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for two years and then deleted. Records for jobs we have done are kept for seven years, because tax and health and safety obligations require it.
Cookies and measurement
This site uses Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to see which pages people read and where they get stuck, so we can fix the pages that are not working. That records pages viewed, roughly where in the country you are and what device you used. It does not record your name or your phone number. Your browser can block all of it and the site still works.
We also run Google Ads. Google sets cookies so we can tell when someone who clicked one of our ads sends an enquiry or taps to call or text us, and so our ads can be shown again to people who have visited this site. Google does not get your name, phone number or message from our forms. You can turn off personalised ads in your Google ad settings.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Ring 027 966 9505 or email matt@directconcrete.co.nz and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
